Wrinkle Fillers for the Face
Injectable skin fillers have added new dimensions to the field of cosmetic dermatology, allowing new forms of facial rejuvenation and wrinkle treatment without surgery. Injectable skin and wrinkle fillers are used to increase tissue volume (as with lip augmentation), reduce wrinkles, and improve skin’s overall contour.

They are based on non-animal Hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in the body and dissolves naturally with time. The Wrinkle Treatments are performed by injecting the select Wrinkle Filler (i.e. Restylane, Juvederm or Perlane) into the skin or lips. On average it takes approximately 30 minutes and the result is prompt. Other wrinkle fillers such as Sculptra and Radiesse are based on other materials, which are also safe and provide immediate results.
Reactions are rare, but mild side effects may include: swelling tenderness, pain itching and discomfort around the injection site, minor bruising which will all disappear within a few days.
